Turkmen agrarians of Dashoguz province have harvested a rich crop of vegetables

Agrarians of Dashoguz province have gathered a rich harvest of fruit and vegetable crops. This is reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

In summer, farmers of the region harvested 2,000 tons of cucumbers, more than 24,000 tons of tomatoes, about 10,000 tons of cabbage, more than 13,000 tons of carrots. Agrarians of Akdepinsky and Boldumsaz etraps made a significant contribution to achieving high indicators.

It is also planned to harvest several tens of thousands of tons of onions and more than 700 tons of carrots. Potato growers of velayat successfully coped with the set tasks, having collected a rich harvest from 8800 hectares of potato fields.

To increase the yield of fruit and vegetable crops, farmers of the region apply modern scientific methods, taking into account agro-ecological features of the velayat. Much attention is paid to rational use of sown areas and water resources, application of modern agro-technical methods and efficient use of special equipment fleet.
