At the invitation of Astrakhan Oblast Governor Igor Babushkin, creative teams from Turkmenistan will take part in the festival "Caspian Seasons - 2023". This is reported by the online publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".
The first concert opening the festival will be held on August 22 on the Cathedral Square of the Astrakhan Kremlin. The concert will feature a symphony orchestra consisting of musicians from Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Russia, Iran and Kazakhstan. Turkmen Honored Artist Leyli Okdirova will perform together with the orchestra.
From August 25 to 28, the Astrakhan Philharmonic will host concerts dedicated to the countries participating in the festival. The Day of Turkmenistan will be held on August 28, during which the People's Artist of Turkmenistan Atageldy Garyagdiyev, pianist, Honored Artist of Turkmenistan Vladimir Mkrtumov, and chamber ensemble Camerata Ashgabat will perform.
