Turkmen athletes are accommodated in the Athletes' Village to prepare for participation in the XIX Asian Summer Games

Preparations for the opening ceremony of the 19th Asian Summer Games, in which Turkmen athletes will take part, continue in Guangzhou, China. This is reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

In order to hold the Games at a high level, the Athletes' Village, the Media Village to accommodate media representatives, and the Technical Workers' Village were built in the city. The total area of the erected complex is 1.13 million square meters.

On September 18, the Turkmen national team was settled in the Athletes' Village in a 26-story building (the national team occupied floors 3-5). The infrastructure of the Athletes' Village includes a canteen, a fitness center with a swimming pool and gym, a shopping center, a clinic, a cultural center, and a religious center for representatives of different faiths.

The Games will begin on September 23. A total of 470 sets of medals will be awarded in 40 sports.
