Turkmen specialists discussed the "Green Customs" initiative in Brussels

Representatives of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan took part in the 241st and 242nd sessions of the Standing Technical Committee of the World Customs Organization in Brussels. This is reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

During the meeting, participants discussed the transition to Green Customs, which is an international initiative to improve customs operations and promote sustainable economic development.

The International Green Customs Program will enhance the effectiveness of customs professionals in controlling environmentally sensitive goods.
The program includes training of employees at national and international levels through trainings.
