Turkmen students took part in a meeting at a Chinese university

Turkmenistan's Ambassador to the People's Republic of China P. Durdyev held a meeting with Turkmen students studying at the China Petroleum University on September 13. This is reported by the online edition "Turkmenistan: The Golden Age."

The event was timed to coincide with several significant events - the 300th anniversary of the birth of Makhtumkuli Fraghi and the 33rd anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence.

Addressing the participants of the meeting, the Ambassador paid special attention to the youth policy conducted in the country. He presented the main vectors of Turkmen-Chinese cooperation in the field of education. Today, about three thousand Turkmen students study in Chinese universities.

The diplomat also spoke about the past cultural events in China dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the birth of Makhtumkuli Fraghi.
