Turkmen students win 16 medals at math Olympiad

Turkmen students have won 16 medals of different values at the International Mathematical Olympiad named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi held in the city of Nukus. This was reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

The national team of Turkmen students won 4 gold, 5 silver and 7 bronze medals. The Olympiad was attended by 35 students from leading universities of Turkmenistan, two of whom - M. Annamukhammedov and D. Gurdov - received the title of "Absolute Champions".

The Turkmen students were mentored by their university teachers who prepared them for the competition. In total, over 150 students from the Central Asian region took part in the Olympiad.
The jury consisted of scientists, professors, teachers from CIS countries.
