National Leader of the Turkmen People arrives in Astana to participate in the TNA Summit

Today, November 3, the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov arrived on a working visit to Kazakhstan to participate in the next summit of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS). This is reported by the publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

The National Leader was met at Astana airport by representatives of the Kazakh leadership, headed by Prime Minister Alikhan Smailov. It is expected that within the framework of the visit the Chairman of the Khalk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan will meet with the President of Kazakhstan Kasym-Jomart Tokayev to discuss bilateral relations and regional agenda.

It should be recalled that Turkmenistan joined the CTG as an observer in 2021. Currently, the country is working on joining the Union of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Turkic States. In addition, Chairman of the Khalk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov is a member of the Council of Elders of the OTG.

Following the visit, it is expected to sign a number of documents aimed at expanding cooperation between Turkmenistan and the TNA member states.
