National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, who is on a working visit to Astana, met with President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kasym-Jomart Tokayev. This is reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".
The sides discussed cooperation between Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan within the framework of the Organization of Turkic States, especially in trade and economic, transport and logistics, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
In addition, Chairman Khalk Maslakhaty will take part in the 10th summit of the Organization of Turkic States. During the summit, the National Leader of the Turkmen people will express Turkmenistan's position on the development of cooperation with the Organization of Turkic States.
Turkmenistan is currently actively working on joining the Union of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Turkic States.
