Turkmen customs officers attended a seminar on improving efficiency

On October 21, employees of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan held a remote seminar on improving the efficiency of the customs control system. This was reported by the Internet publication "AsmanNews.

Specialists of the Customs and Tariff Administration of the Ministry of Economy of Japan Kazumo Matsumoto and Taiki Natsumi presented their experience in the field of customs control. The Japanese customs officers familiarized the Turkmen colleagues with information on customs administration in Japan, three key missions of the customs in Japan, measures taken to simplify customs procedures and effective customs risk management.

Turkmen specialists studied methods of assessment, identification of indicators and risk minimization based on the experience of their Japanese colleagues.
