Turkmen tennis players reached the playoffs of the qualifying tournament of the World Junior U-14 Championship

Boys and girls from the junior national team of Turkmenistan reached the playoffs of the qualifying tournament of the World Tennis Championship U-14 qualifying zone Asia/Oceania. 15 teams took part in the qualifying tournament. The Turkmen national team of boys entered the next stage of the tournament, having won the first place in Group D, the girls' team took the second place in Group B. To secure a playoff spot, Turkmenistan's junior national team scored three convincing victories, beating 3-0 opponents from Macau, Saudi Arabia and Cambodia.

The girls' team, on its way to advancing from the group, scored a 3-0 first win over Macau, then lost to rivals from Indonesia 0-3 before defeating tennis players from Kyrgyzstan 2-1.

Four teams of girls and eight teams of boys will continue to fight for victory in the qualifying round. The girls from Turkmenistan will have to fight in ½ final against their rivals from Malaysia. The boys will have to beat the team from Nepal in the ¼ final.
