Farmers of Dashoguz province of Turkmenistan intend to get at least 15 centners of grain legumes, including mash and noyba, this year. This is reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".
The harvested crops will meet the needs of the population for legumes, which can be purchased at affordable prices.
The largest producers of grain legumes in the country are farmers of Akdepi, Kunyaurgench, Boldumsaz and S. Turkmenbashi etrap. It is noted that farmers of Dashoguz velayat successfully cope with harvesting of mash and noyba.
The farmers of velayat annually fulfill the set tasks on cultivation of mash and noyba, which contributes to the increase of grain and vegetable protein production and leads to the improvement of fertile soil layer. In addition to other advantages, grain legume crops tolerate transportation well and are characterized by a long shelf life.
