Turkmen diplomat S. Palvanov meets EU representative in Brussels

Turkmenistan's Ambassador to Belgium Sapar Palvanov and Head of the EU Directorate for Central Asia and the Middle East Sara Rinaldi met in Brussels on July 11. This is reported by Orient news.

The sides discussed cooperation between Turkmenistan and the EU in the fields of transport, digitalization, technology, women's entrepreneurship and education.

Sarah Rinaldi briefed the Ambassador on the Global Portal, which helps accelerate digital, energy and environmental transformation in emerging and developing countries.

Sara Rinaldi called the sustainable energy cooperation program in Central Asia promising. The EU, together with the UN, is also implementing a disaster risk reduction program in Turkmenistan.

The meeting resulted in mutual willingness of the parties to strengthen constructive cooperation.
