Since September 23 this year, the Japanese University of Tsukuba has started teaching the Turkmen language. More than 50 Japanese and foreign students have already started studying the Turkmen language. This is reported in the press release of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Japan.
The leadership of the Japanese university notes that the study of the Turkmen language by Japanese students will contribute to the strengthening and expansion of Turkmen-Japanese cooperation in the cultural and humanitarian sphere, in particular, in the field of science and culture, as well as help mutual enrichment of cultures and rapprochement of peoples.
On September 26, Turkmenistan's Ambassador to Japan A. Bayramov visited the University of Tsukuba to familiarize himself with the level of teaching at the Turkmen language courses. Mr. Bayramov visited Tsukuba University to familiarize himself with the level of teaching at the Turkmen language courses. During the lesson, the students recited a new poem by the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov about Makhtumkuli Fraghi in Turkmen.
