Turkmen expert talks about increasing private sector participation in agriculture

Expert and economic observer Valentin Trapeznikov spoke about the increase in the share of private sector participation in the agricultural sector of Turkmenistan's economy. This is reported by Centralasia.news.

The observer noted that the growth of the private sector in agriculture is due to several factors, including the Entrepreneurship Support Program, preferential lending for investment agricultural projects, allocation of land plots to private producers for 99 years, allocation of agricultural machinery, privatization of livestock enterprises.

With state support for small and medium-sized enterprises, Turkmenistan is actively developing crop production, grain and legume production, vegetable growing, mushroom growing, horticulture, viticulture, cultivation and processing of fruit and berry crops, cattle breeding and poultry farming, and is actively building greenhouse complexes.
