Turkmen karate player wins bronze medal of the Youth Karate League

Following the results of the international tournament of the world series "Youth Karate League1" under the auspices of the World Karate Federation held in Spain, Turkmen karate player Alymuhammet Kakalyev won a bronze medal in kumite among boys under 14 in the weight category up to 55 kg. The competition was attended by 3,035 athletes in the age category from 12 to 20 years old from 70 countries. Athletes competed for tournament medals and ranking points for participation in the IV Summer Youth Olympic Games 2026 in Dakar.

From the side of Turkmenistan 21 athletes, 2 coaches, 6 judges of international class came to the tournament.
Alymuhammet previously trained under the coach of the sports school of Ak Bugday district of Akhal province, Maksat Atdayev. Now he trains under the guidance of Aydyn Chariev, head coach of the national team of Turkmenistan and holder of the 5-dan black belt.
