The economic society "Lezzetli miwe" collected about 70 tons of peaches and 23 tons of apples. This is reported on the website of "Business Turkmenistan".
As noted by the director of the economic company, more than 200 hectares of land in Kaakkhi etrap of Ahal province were allocated for planting. The planting of imported seedlings was carried out after a thorough study of the properties of the local soil by the company's specialists. There were planted 250 thousand seedlings brought from the Republic of Turkey, which quickly adapt to the local soil and climatic conditions.
In total, cherry orchards cover an area of 100 hectares, peach orchards - 17.5 hectares, apple orchards - 25 hectares. The economic society also possesses an almond orchard, which occupies 35 hectares. This year, the company's specialists plan to harvest 15 tons of crops from it.
