A water treatment facility was put into operation in the Ahal region of Turkmenistan

A new wastewater treatment plant with a capacity of 20 thousand cubic meters of water per day was opened in Baherden etrap of Akhal province. The newspaper "Neutral Turkmenistan" reports about it today.
The ceremony was attended by members of the Khalk Maslakhaty and deputies of the Milli Gengesh Majlis, leaders of the regional and district khakimliks, representatives of party and public organizations, labor collectives, honorary elders and young people.
The construction of the hydrotechnical complex was carried out by an individual enterprise "Mukaddes toprak". On behalf of the President of the country, valuable gifts and modern color TV sets were presented to the most distinguished builders in a festive atmosphere. The opening ceremony was adorned with a concert by creative groups of the Akhal velayat.
The wastewater treatment complex for the settlements of Archman, Keletdag and the Archman Resort was built on an area of 4.2 hectares. Here, the wastewater undergoes multi-stage purification using innovative technologies, including biological method. High-performance equipment provides a full cycle of technological process of stage-by-stage wastewater processing - treatment, disinfection and preparation for water supply - all controlled and monitored by a computer system.
The production is equipped with a complex of pumping units, filtration equipment, assemblies, units, measuring devices of world-class renowned companies in Europe, America and Turkey.
The quality of the process is such that the treated water can be fed into water bodies and reservoirs without damaging the environment and can be used for economic purposes.
The wastewater treatment technology used here is a state-of-the-art zero-waste facility, because the purified and decontaminated water released can be used for irrigation, and the dewatered sludge is suitable as a topsoil or fertilizer.
