Exhibition in honor of the 70th anniversary of artist A. Kashirsky opened in Ashgabat

A personal exhibition in honor of the 70th anniversary of the outstanding Turkmen artist Alexander Kashirsky opened at the Exhibition Center in Ashgabat. This is reported by the online edition of "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

The exhibition presents charming paintings depicting the old two-storied Ashgabat, which is the main theme of creativity of the talented Turkmen artist. In the works "Nostalgia", "Fountain in the courtyard", "Old street near the station", "Govher" one can recognize the capital as it looked half a century ago.

Another area of A. Kashirsky's work, in addition to painting, is the rather rare medal art. The exhibition presents unique medals made by the artist in different years of his creative life. Portraits of Shakespeare, Nostradamus, modern outstanding persons are easily recognized on them. The guests of the exposition will also be able to see medal self-portraits of the artist.
