The international contest "Ýylyň türkmen edermen alabaýy" will be held in Ashgabat

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed an order prescribing to hold the International Contest "Ýylyň türkmen edermen alabaýy" in Ashgabat on October 27, 2024 on the occasion of the Holiday of the Turkmen alabai, as well as contests among carpet makers, painters, sculptors, photographers, and contests among carpet weavers, artists, sculptors, photographers, publishers and TV cameramen on the artistic representation of the image of the Turkmen Alabays in works of fine and decorative-applied art, publishing products, photographs and TV channels, having approved the jury of the above-mentioned contests, TDH reports.
The Order signed by the head of the Turkmen state notes that the event is held in order to further increase the world glory of the Turkmen Alabai, which has become the national treasure and pride of the Turkmen people, as well as in accordance with the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan № 2222 "On holding competitions on the occasion of the Holiday of the Turkmen Alabai" dated April 9, 2021.
