Makhtumkuli Creative Festival starts in Ashgabat

A creative festival called "Magtymguly sözlär tili türkmeniň" has started in Ashgabat in honor of the 300th anniversary of the birth of the Turkmen philosopher and poet. This is reported by the online edition of "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

On the stage of the Vatan Cinema and Concert Complex, creative teams of the Turkmen National Conservatory named after M. Kuliyeva, the Turkmen State Special Music School named after D. Ovezov under the TNC and the House of Culture of the capital region performed. D. Ovezov at TNC, as well as the House of Culture of the capital region.

Songs on poems by Makhtumkuli Fraghi performed by national and honored artists of the country Shemshat Hodjaeva, Palvan Hamydov, Merdan Bayramov, Garyagdy Sariyev and other singers were performed on the stage.

In addition to the capital, concerts within the festival will be held in Akhal, Balkan, Dashoguz, Lebap and Mary velayats of the country.
