Turkmenistan's acting foreign minister meets with a Russian diplomat

On May 4 this year, acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Vep Hajiyev and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Mikhail Galuzin met. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The agenda was to discuss the development of partnership in trade and economic, political, diplomatic, cultural and humanitarian spheres between Turkmenistan and Russia.
The development of cooperation in the "Central Asia - Russia" format was named a priority.
The interlocutors noted the effectiveness of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation.

The Turkmen-Russian consultations on information and regional security under the leadership of M. Galuzin were also held. Effective cooperation between the countries on these issues was emphasized, and the sides exchanged views on the situation in the region.
