On October 16, the Days of Culture of the Russian Federation started in the Turkmen capital. This was reported by the Internet edition "AsmanNews.
Deputy Minister of Culture of Turkmenistan N. Shirimov and Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Turkmenistan I. Volynkin spoke at the opening ceremony of the festival. They emphasized the importance of the Days of Culture in the context of strengthening cultural and humanitarian ties and mutual enrichment of cultures of the peoples of the two countries.
The exhibition "Patchwork Mosaic of Russia" was organized in the Mukam Palace of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan, which included author's works by contemporary masters of Russia.
The State Academic Folk Dance Ensemble of Adygea "Nalmes" presented a choreographic program to the guests and residents of Ashgabat. The musicians played a medley of ancient folk instruments during the concert.
