A business mission from the Kyrgyz Investment Agency will be held in Ashgabat in May

A business mission is planned to be held in Ashgabat in May this year. The initiators of the event are the National Investment Agency of Kyrgyzstan and the Embassy in Turkmenistan. This was reported by the press service of the agency.

The purpose of the event is to expand cooperation between Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan and establish business relations in business circles. The parties plan to discuss cooperation in tourism, industry, agriculture, light industry.

The business mission will provide an opportunity to expand relations between the countries in healthcare, hotel and restaurant business, architecture and construction, IT technologies, international transportation, marketing and consulting.

Foreign trade turnover between Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan according to statistics for January-November last year amounted to $79.6 million, which is 160.2% more than in the same period of the previous year.
