The Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan held a round table on innovations

On October 23, 2024, the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan hosted a round table on "Innovation economy and startup ecosystem in the education system of Turkmenistan" with the participation of representatives of higher and secondary vocational educational institutions, the Ministry of Education, public organizations "Union of Economists of Turkmenistan" and "Achievements of Young Turkmenistan" and business incubators. In the context of the transition of the country's economy and education system to an innovative digital development model, a large-scale implementation of the Startup Ecosystem program in processional educational institutions was proposed.

As a result of the roundtable, a decision was made to select pilot educational institutions to create startup platforms for the current academic year for further expansion to all educational institutions. Attention was also paid to the issues of legal and financial support for young entrepreneurs.
