EU High Representative Josep Borrel will hold a bilateral meeting with Turkmenistan's Foreign Minister in Samarkand on November 18 this year.
The meeting, scheduled in the format of a conference on cooperation between the EU and Central Asian states, should be representative, as heads of governments, leaders of states, leading experts of the private sector, government agencies, and scientists have been invited to it. The forum will be covered by accredited media representatives of the leading countries of the world.
The program of the conference includes a discussion of the most important issues of mutually beneficial cooperation in logistics, digitalization, and energy.
Economic development and the expansion of the framework of cooperation with the countries of Central Asia is of great interest to the European Union. That is why, before coming to Turkmenistan, Borrel will visit Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, where he will have talks with the foreign ministers of these countries.
