New Coronavirus Vaccine Tested on Humans in the U.S.

U.S. citizen Jennifer Haller is the first person to experience a test vaccine for the COVID-19 coronavirus, according to "TASS" with reference to the British newspaper "The Taily Telegraph".

As of today, the volunteer patient remains self-contained in Washington, D.C., and is preparing for her second dose of the injection, which is scheduled for the coming week.

According to the 44th American, the process of administering the vaccine lasted a few seconds, and the injection itself resembles a regular flu shot. "The first day after the injection, I had a slightly high fever and the second day I felt a lot of pain in my arm, but I feel fine now." - Jennifer stated in an interview with The Daily Telegraph.

Note that initially, the antiviral drug created by the U.S. National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases was tested on animals. Against the background of promising research results, scientists decided to test it on 45 volunteers. The vaccine could be available to the general public in 12-18 months.

As of April 15, more than two million people worldwide were infected with the coronavirus infection. In Turkmenistan, due to timely preventive and prophylactic measures taken, not a single case of COVID-19 infection was detected.
