Young SDC Ambassadors were awarded in Turkmenistan

The UN Office of the UN Resident Coordinator in Turkmenistan organized an award ceremony for young ambassadors of the SDGs at the UN building in Turkmenistan. This was reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

The event was attended by more than 60-odd university students and other interested participants.
During the ceremony, the contribution of the young ambassadors in promoting sustainable development of Turkmenistan was recognized.
Young SDG Ambassadors implement initiatives and educational projects aimed at solving significant environmental and social problems, and participate in high-level events.

Each young SDG Ambassador is a socially active leader in their community and advocates for the Global Goal to achieve sustainable development. Elections for new SDG Ambassadors for 2024-2025 will be held soon. Therefore, the event also aims to raise awareness among the younger generation.
