A new 300-bed infectious disease hospital opened in Turkmenistan

The opening ceremony of a new infectious disease hospital for 300 beds was held in Mary district, which was timed to coincide with the professional holiday of Turkmenistan's health workers. This is reported by the State News Agency "Turkmenistan Today.".

The ceremony was attended by deputies of the Majlis, representatives of local authorities, medical workers, elders and students. Hyakim of Mary velayat read out the welcoming address of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, in which successes in improving the health care system due to the implemented national programs were noted.

The participants of the event were able to personally assess the conditions created in the hospital. The territory of the medical institution is landscaped, and its location in an area with a favorable climate for treatment is an additional advantage.

At the end of the ceremony, on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan, the hospital was handed over the keys to specialized emergency vehicles, and the distinguished builders were presented with memorable gifts.
