Turkmenistan summarized the results of the Russian presidential election

The results of voting for the President of the Russian Federation held on March 17, 2024 in Turkmenistan have been announced. This is reported by the Internet publication "TurkmenPortal".

Russian citizens who are or reside in Turkmenistan took part in the Russian presidential election. For them, 5 polling stations operated on the territory of Turkmenistan. A total of 2,751 Russian citizens took part in the voting, 2,636 of whom cast their votes for the incumbent President Vladimir Putin, which is 95.82%.

Nikolai Kharitonov came second with 41 votes, 32 people voted for Vladislav Davankov and 20 people voted for Leonid Slutsky. Voters who took part in the voting for the first time were given memorable gifts.

Russian Ambassador to Turkmenistan Ivan Volynkin expressed gratitude to the Turkmen authorities for their assistance in organizing and holding the elections.
