A group of Uzbek filmmakers is shooting a movie about Makhtumkuli Fraghi, directed by Muzaffarkhan Erkinov, in Turkmenistan. This is reported in the Internet edition "Türkmenistan habarlar portaly".
The screenplay was written by Ore Dashgynov and Rakhimberdi Annaguliyev. The Oguzkhan Turkmenfilm Association and the National Center for the Development of Cinematography of Uzbekistan assisted the Uzbek colleagues.
Turkmen actor Akhmet Amandurdyev will play the main role in the new movie. Other roles include People's Artist of Turkmenistan Chari Berdiev, Dovlet Berdiev, Muhammetguly Kasymov, Orazgeldi Durdiev.
The main events of the movie take place in the Uzbek cities of Bukhara and Khiva, on the territory of Turkmenistan the shooting will take place in the etrap of Ak Bugday of Akhal province and in the village of Gurykhovdan.
