A corresponding amendment to the tax legislation was introduced on July 29 and will enter into force on August 29 of this year. Parents and guardians of disabled children will be exempt from paying income tax until the child comes of age.
In fact, it will give an opportunity to increase salaries on 10%, which previously went to the state budget. Thus, the amendment will financially support families who have children with disabilities.
If the parents or guardians are entrepreneurs and run their own business, up to 30,000 TMT of total income each month will not be taxed.
This amendment will apply not only to biological parents and guardians, but also to adoptive parents of children with disabilities.
