This week, Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov, the State Security Council of Turkmenistan, identified and signed the Decree "On Approval of the State Program on Ensuring Cyber Security of Turkmenistan. Several priority directions in this sphere have been set for the next four years. The solution of these problems will depend on the quality and professionalism of officers, their ability to master modern technologies and apply them in the course of their work.
The President emphasized that in order to achieve the goals set, it is necessary to deal with the actualization of the Criminal Code. Emphasis will be placed on issues of cybersecurity and the prevention of knowingly illegal actions on the World Wide Web. It was instructed to develop a plan of additional measures and recommendations for the smooth implementation of all the work tasks that will lead to the modernization of legislative acts of the state and improve public literacy in the field of safe use of the Internet.
