Turkmenistan will use 1800 seeders and tractors in cotton sowing season

At Friday's meeting of Turkmenistan's Cabinet of Ministers, which was held digitally on March 17, Serdar Berdimuhamedov heard a report from Deputy Prime Minister A. Yazmyradov on the progress of preparations for the cotton sowing campaign. This was reported by the state news agency Turkmenistan Today.

Yazmyradov noted that the preparation for sowing cotton is carried out in accordance with modern norms of agricultural technology, which relate to the preparation of seed and special agricultural equipment. It is planned to use 1800 tractors and seeders across the country.

Deputy Prime Minister appealed to the President with a request to set a specific date for the beginning of cotton sowing. Serdar Berdimuhamedov ordered to start sowing on March 24 in all velayats, except Dashoguz, where sowing should start on March 29.
