The Spanish media group Atresmedia approached colleagues from Turkmenistan with a proposal for a joint television project. The country's Foreign Ministry organized an online meeting between representatives of the management of the State Committee on Mass Media and Cinematography and the head of the documentary program "Special Envoy.
Atresmedia, a leading media holding company, owns Antena 3 and LaSexta, rating TV channels with an audience of over 19.5 million viewers. The company owns key communication sectors in radio, TV, film production and the Internet.
During the talks, agreements were reached to organize filming on the territory of Turkmenistan. The Spanish holding plans to launch a documentary about the country, to reveal its cultural and commercial and economic potential, to tell the audience about the rich heritage of the Turkmen people.
