Deputy Prime Minister of Turkmenistan reported on preparations for spring sowing season

Т. Atakhallyev reported on preparations for spring sowing of cotton and other agricultural crops during the regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan on February 2. This is reported by Centralasia.news.

Plowing and land leveling for the forthcoming sowing of cotton, preparation for planting potatoes and other fruit and vegetable crops, as well as maintenance of wheat crops are currently underway.

T. Atakhallyev also noted that the work on preservation of pedigree purity of Akhalteke horses continues. Scientific and Production Center of horse breeding of the State Association of Türkmen atlary in the city of Arkadag is working to improve the breed of Akhalteke horses. Breeding records of stallions born this year are being kept and relevant certificates are being issued.
