A meeting of the Turkmenistan-UN Strategic Council was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan

The second meeting of the Strategic Advisory Council "Turkmenistan - UN" was held in the building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan on July 16. About it reports Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan.

The meeting reviewed the results of the UN Secretary General's visit to Ashgabat. The participants of the meeting noted that the visit would contribute to strengthening bilateral cooperation. One of the most important topics of the meeting was the steps to implement the UN General Assembly resolution "International Year of Peace and Trust, 2025" Turkmenistan and other countries.

The resolution "International Year of Peace and Trust, 2025" was adopted by consensus at the initiative of Turkmenistan during the 78th session of the UN General Assembly. This resolution calls on the world community to peaceful and diplomatic methods of resolving emerging conflicts and building trust between countries.
