On Saturday, June 20, parliamentarians will discuss legislation needed to improve the legal framework. The Ombudsman of Turkmenistan Ya. Gurbannazarova.
The deputies will consider draft laws in the field of delinquency, physical activity and humanitarian aid. On the agenda is also the coordination of amendments to the Codes of Turkmenistan and a number of laws, relating, in particular, to public organizations, tourism, insurance, privatization of state property, the Budget Code.
The National Parliament will also consider ratification of international documents, among them: the amendment to the Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer (1987); the Protocol of the Framework Convention for the Protection of the Marine Environment of the Caspian Sea; a number of European agreements (on highways, railway lines and others).
Deputies will also vote on draft resolutions for accession to a number of international agreements relating to performers' rights, access to printed information for the blind, and protection of waterfowl and migratory animals.
