The International Energy Agency has included our country in the list of 10 countries with the lowest gasoline prices.
According to the international company, the average global price of gasoline in 2019 was $0.91/liter. In Iran, fuel could be purchased at the lowest price ($0.24/liter), while in Hong Kong it was necessary to pay $1.97 per liter. Experts emphasized the influence of state policy of different countries on pricing in this segment.
The top 10 countries with the most affordable gasoline according to the IEA are (in terms of cost per liter of fuel):

In Russia, the price of gasoline was at $0.70/liter, in the United States - $0.79/liter.
Among the countries where the cost per liter of gasoline is almost twice the world average price: the Netherlands ($1.84), Norway ($1.78), Greece ($1.76), Italy ($1.76).
