300 balloons rose into the sky in honor of Turkmen poet Makhtumkuli Fraghi

Events in honor of the 300th anniversary of the birth of Makhtumkuli Fraghi and the 33rd anniversary of Turkmenistan's Independence were held in Cappadocia, a tourist province of Turkey, on November 1-2 this year. On November 2, 300 balloons with the flags of Turkey and Turkmenistan flew into the air. This is reported by the Internet edition "Turkmenistan: The Golden Age."

On November 1, a round table "Turkmenistan and Turkey: on the way to a new stage of economic partnership" was held for representatives of the business community of the Republic of Turkey. The round table addressed the issues of Turkmen-Turkish cooperation in such economic spheres as construction, trade, transportation and investment.

The balloon parade on November 2 started in Göreme National Tourist Park and lasted about an hour. The balloons were decorated with Turkmen and Turkish flags, as well as banners dedicated to Makhtumkuli Fraghi.
