The head of state formed a new government to replace the Cabinet that resigned after the inauguration, as stipulated by the Constitution.
Serdar Berdymukhamedov reappointed to the post of deputy prime minister. M. Mukhamedov, a manager-economist with extensive experience in managing financial institutions, was appointed to the post of deputy prime minister, which had previously been held by the country's leader himself.
The new head of state signed a decree on reinstatement of members of the government, emphasizing their high professionalism and availability of all the necessary qualities for effective work for the benefit of the state and Turkmen citizens.
The newly hired government members assured the president that they would spare no effort to work productively.
