The Makhtumkuli Music and Drama Theater is preparing a play based on the Old Testament biblical story of Noah and the Flood. The production will begin with God's appeal to the righteous Noah, to whom he has decided to grant salvation.
The script was written by talented playwright G. Danatarov and directed by A. Batyrov. Theatrical artists did not accidentally turn to the theme of the famous parable from the Book of Genesis, as it raises topics relevant at all times - about love and hate, mercy and compassion, faith and trust, courage and cowardice, goodness and friendship.
With the help of bright characters of the story the director will show the audience a whole palette of relationships, human vices and passions, emotions and characters. The colorful scenery will give theatergoers an even deeper insight into the atmosphere of this fascinating story.
The performance will be premiered in the Turkmen capital from May 21 to 25 as part of the large-scale festival of theaters.
