Since January 1, 2023, the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan puts a new type of stamps

As of January 1 of the coming year, customs documents certified by the old type of seals will be considered invalid. The new type of seals of the customs authority are numbered personal seals. This innovation was introduced by the decree of the Chairman of the State Customs Service № 88 of December 7, 2022.

The State Customs Service of Turkmenistan was established in 1991 and is a body of state administration that ensures compliance of the Turkmen customs with international obligations, makes it possible to pursue state policy in regulating the customs system and take measures to combat smugglers.

The State Customs Service notified citizens of the introduction of the new type of stamps on Monday, December 26.
