Vidhu P. Nair met with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan

India's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Turkmenistan met with the country's Deputy Foreign Minister Myahri Byashimova. Official talks between the diplomats took place on Friday, March 17 and were devoted to discussing topical issues of interstate partnership. This is reported on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

During the meeting, the sides noted the high significance of the first CA-India Summit, which was held in January 2022 in the videoconference format. The visit of the President of India to Ashgabat in April 2022 was an equally important milestone in strengthening diplomatic cooperation between India and Turkmenistan.

The diplomats noted the constructive interaction between the countries in the format of international organizations. They also identified priority vectors of Turkmen-Indian cooperation in the areas of health care, education and science, and medical industry.
