Turkmen companies to become official sponsors of space technology conference

Turkmen Communications Agency and satellite communications operator Turkmen Hemrasy supported the international conference of space technologies "Central Eurasia-2023" to be held from April 25 to 27 in Tashkent, becoming official sponsors of the event. More than 250 experts and heads of space agencies from 12 countries are expected at the business event. Participation in the conference will provide an opportunity to gain new knowledge in the industry and strengthen international cooperation in the space sector.

Turkmen Communications Agency plans to utilize the advantages of satellite technologies and is considering the prospects of launching a second communications satellite. The communications operator Turkmen Hemrasy plans to use Earth observation and remote sensing data, which is applicable in agriculture, water management, cartography, oil and gas and transportation sectors.
