President of Turkmenistan meets with the Head of the UN Regional Center for Preventive Diplomacy in Central Asia

On April 20, Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov received Miroslav Yench, Acting Head of the UN Regional Center for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia, Assistant Secretary General for Europe, Central Asia, North and South America. During the conversation, the parties noted the effectiveness of cooperation between Turkmenistan and the UN in ensuring peace and security, in the development of sustainable energy and transport, in the implementation of the SDG program, in addressing social, economic, humanitarian and environmental issues.

The President of Turkmenistan emphasized that he supports the activities of the UN Regional Center for Preventive Diplomacy in Central Asia. He also expressed confidence that the potential of the Center will continue to be in demand.
