The President of Turkmenistan participated in a videoconference of SCO members

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov took part in a videoconference of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization member states on the theme "Towards SECURE SCO". This is reported by the Internet edition "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

This year the SCO is chaired by India. The agenda of the conference was the results of the SCO's activities over the past year. It touched upon topical issues on the main directions and prospects of its activities, as well as on areas of cooperation with other countries and international organizations.

The event was attended by representatives of the SCO member states, with the Presidents of Iran, Belarus, Mongolia and Turkmenistan invited as observers. In addition, the heads of the two standing bodies of the SCO and international and regional organizations were invited.

In his speech, Serdar Berdimuhamedov highlighted promising areas of cooperation, including cyber and biosecurity, logistics, energy and high technology.
