President of Turkmenistan meets with Emomali Rakhmon

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov met with President of Tajikistan Emomali Rakhmon, who arrived in Ashgabat to participate in the trilateral summit of the leaders of Turkmenistan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, on August 4, 2023. The leaders of the two countries met at the Arkadag Hotel in the capital. The sides exchanged views on topical issues of bilateral mutually beneficial partnership between Turkmenistan and Tajikistan. The sides also touched upon the global and regional agenda.

The Parties expressed confidence that the Trilateral Summit will contribute to the further development of cooperation between the three states at the regional level.
