Inter-Ministerial consultations between Turkmenistan and Malaysia were held today in the building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. This is reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
During the consultations, the diplomats of the two countries discussed the development of bilateral cooperation in trade and economic, cultural and humanitarian, energy and political and diplomatic spheres. The sides also reaffirmed their readiness to strengthen cooperation within the framework of international organizations, including the UN.
It was noted that high-level and high-level contacts, as well as inter-ministerial consultations are an important component of cooperation development. The diplomats emphasized the expediency of establishing an Intergovernmental Commission on Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation between Turkmenistan and Malaysia.
The parties emphasized the prospects of partnership development in the IT sphere, digitalization of the economy, tourism, education, science and culture, as well as in healthcare.
