The Ombudsman of Turkmenistan participated in a regional conference on women's rights in Skopje

The Authorized Representative for Human Rights in Turkmenistan, Ombudsman Y. Gurbannazarova participated in a high-level regional forum on women's rights entitled "The right to choose: realizing the rights of women and girls in reproductive health decision-making". The conference was held on October 5 in Skopje, the capital of the Republic of North Macedonia. This is reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

The main objective of the Action Coalition event was to develop a strategy and action plan for the region and to review the commitments made. The conference was attended by civil society activists, youth leaders and experts. During the event, the participants addressed pressing issues of regional cooperation, challenges and achievements with the aim of uniting supporters of the international conference on population and development.
