The Turkmen delegation headed by the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov took an active part in the events of the "One Belt, One Road" Forum in Beijing, which ended on October 18, 2023. This was reported in the air of the news program Watan.
During the International Conference, high-level forums were held on the development of transport and communications, implementation of environmental projects and development of the digital economy. In addition, 6 consultations were held, including on foreign trade and cultural and humanitarian relations, interaction of think tanks, interregional cooperation and promotion of maritime projects.
The Forum also included a large meeting of representatives of business groups from different countries. Specific investment projects were presented and new agreements were signed concerning various sectors of the economy. As a result of the Forum, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed on joint implementation of a business plan for the development of "green" science and technology in the Central Asian region.
